FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
Description

Departure from Samos town 08.30.
You continue to the Village of Pythagorio and you make your first stop at the Ancient Temple of Hera near
the Village of Ireon.
After visiting the biggest Ancient Greek Temple of antiquity, you pass through the Village of Chora you make
your next stop at the Monastery of the Holy Cross, viewing a typical Byzantine monastery and drinking cold
water from the spring that is located at the base of the sanctuary.
Departing from there you will be passing form the Villages of Koumaradaioi and Pyrgos to stop again at
Koutsi for a cool refreshment under the big and shady oak trees.
Continuing the trip you will be staying for 2 ½ hours at the sandy Votsalakia Beach enjoying the clear waters
and the hot sun.
Leaving after a nice swim you will be passing the city of Karlovasi and driving through the north coast you will
be making you next stop at the Valeondades Valley(known as Nightingale Valley) for a short break under the
big trees and next to a small stream.
Ending the tour, you will pass Kokkari to return to Samos Town.



HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING
Description

Departure from Samos Town 08.30.
Your first stop is at the Village of Pythagorio were you visit the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani hidden inside a
huge cave…After that just right next to the Monastery you can visit, for a lot of people the 8th Wonder, the
Efpalinio Orygma. Built in the 5th century B.C. to bring water to the Ancient capital of Samos.Continuing
from there you visit a much bigger Monastery of the Holy Virgin on a beautiful landscape. Next stop at the
Ancient Temple of Hera near the Village of Ireon.
After visiting the biggest Ancient Greek Temple of antiquity, you pass through the Village of Chora and you
arrive at the Village of Mitilinii, in the interior of the island stopping at Paleontological Museum looking at a
big collection of prehistoric findings…
The way back to Samos town ends the journey around 13.45.
